The day was October 7th, 2023, I was a happy kid young man and I had so much love inside of me for the world and its creatures. I was very excited for the future of a 115 win Dodgers team, and all they needed to do at the time was just get just get over the Arizona Diamondbacks in the NLDS. The Arizona Diamondbacks, who did not have 115 wins. It’s a somewhat easy task on paper but we actually didn’t win on October 7, 2023. I was a little mad. But then, on October 9, 2023. We didn’t win again. Wasn’t a good spot to be in, NLDS only goes to three games! October 11th comes and we didn’t win either. My new mindset after was kill all. I think about it all the time. People want to make me feel bad for “ruining the sport” but until they have a moment like that, they don’t understand how less and less I care anymore. I’m just here to win. I know what it’s like to have everything taken from you. That’s only why the three-peat that is coming will eventually be so rewarding. I’ve lived in 0-3.
