Thank god there was baseball on around 1 because I was so bored. The Phillies scored some runs today! San Diego had a meh offensive game despite scoring 4 runs. Lots of birthdays today! You know if you know.

Phillies' 4th season sweep since 1901! Thank you Philadelphia... Zack Wheeler didn't have as bad of a start as when we faced him!

LIKE I SAID, CALL THEM SWEEP DIEGO! 🧹🧹🧹🧹🧹🧹 The franchise’s 4th season sweep of six or more games came with a dominant start from Zack Wheeler. Honestly, I’m just impressed that the offense managed to score six whole runs in a game! I’d forgotten how teams are allowed to do that! But hey, that’s what’s in.

Zack Wheeler carried a no-hitter with him for awhile. Eventually it was broken up though. Phillies led through the entire game. Machado and Merrill each hit a two-run homerun to make up the 4 Padre runs.

Phillies finish the sweep, finally scored above 4 runs. Wheeler was dominant took a no hitter into the 6th, thought he had it. Craw had a good game, Adolis looks hot. Watched this one at home during a light day of work.

NL playoff race is insane as possible. Zack Wheeler continues to play at an elite level, Garcia with another big blast, and Bohm and Stott in the middle of the order bring the Phils in current playoff position. Cards, Phillies, Pirates, D-Backs, Padres, Cubs and Reds all within 2 games of each other.
