The Blue Jays were dead on arrival. Scherzer should stay on IL until the playoffs. 7th inning I thought we was going to break through but nah

Score reads a lot closer than it really was. Phillies jumped out to a six run lead and just allowed the Jays to face Chase Shugart, breathing a bit of life into them. Unfortunately for Toronto, the rest of our bullpen is at an MLB level.

What am I supposed to do – NOT give Max Scherzer throwing his 3,500th strikeout a good rating? That said, this game was probably winnable if it wasn't a Scherzer start. I get the team is strapped for arms right now but these kinds of games are difficult to watch.
