Going to keep this one short. It’s a game we’ve seen a million times against trashland. Skubal wasn’t good, and man I feel for him. He’s not going to be good after surgery but man. But it comes down to their pitching staff just OWNING the Tigers hitters. I’ve said this a million times this year. You win when your core hits. THE CORE DOESNT HIT THIS STAFF. Riley is a fine player, but when has he done something memorable in a game? He hits fine but he’s the opposite of clutch. Tork is just a failure, Carp cant hit a barn. I mean are we for real right now. We have 2 good hitters on this team in Ding and a ROOKIE in Kevin. Just can’t beat this team man.
Half their roster got hurt tonight and we couldn’t beat them lmao. Jose broke his hand and you feel for him but man I’m glad we don’t play him tomorrow. Dude is what Miggy was without the power.
Also let’s stop with the Jamai at bats, dude is AWFULLLLLL. Hao deserves a roster spot.

Cantillo turned in his first good start in a while and managed to outduel Skubal. Schneemann had a go ahead 2-run blast in the 3rd and the bullpen was absolute nails as the Guardians take the series and move to 6-0 against Detroit on the season. A brutal day on the injury front however as Martinez, DeLauter, and Ramirez all left the game early. It did however give us Rhys Hoskins in the outfield allowing a triple. With the win in the books, that becomes a fun goof to look back on. Gavin takes the bump tomorrow as we go for the sweep.
