September 6, 2025. Yoshinobu Yamamoto was 1 out away from a no-hitter. Up 3-0 on the Baltimore Orioles. And Jackson Holliday broke it up. He went yard, making it a 3-1 game. Yamamoto was pulled, and the Orioles came back to win 4-3 over the Dodgers.
June 13, 2026. Yamamoto has a chance at revenge. Perfect game through 7 and 2/3 innings. And Mookie completely botches a play at short. Yamamoto was able to get the final out of the 8th, bringing a no-no into the 9th.
And history repeated itself. In the 9th inning, Tristan Peters went yard. Ending the perfect game.
