Watched on MLB Big Inning. Framber pitched well in his return to Houston. Houston has some guys I’ve never heard of towards the end of their lineup. They’re right in the AL West though even being 4 games under .500.

Tigers lose one late. Color me shocked. AJ Hinch remains a terrorist and pinch hits Jahmai Jones (fellow terrorist—batting .129; 0 for his last 21). Scott Harris also a terrorist for putting together a lineup where we’re pinch hitting Jahmai and Jake Rogers. DFA Jahmai yesterday, trade Skubal now.

Yeah I mean it’s the same story as it was in May. I’m going to say 2 things tonight after my quick recap. Hunter Brown was great, Framber was good, and the Tiger 5-9 hitter stink. Point 1. This team goes as Gleyber goes. If he’s in the lineup, the Tigers will have long competitive at bats. If he’s out of the lineup, your 5-9 hitters are all .235 hitter or below. Point 2. Out of all the major 4 cities, where does Detroit rank out of cities with the most time of players spending on the IL. I’m talking about Lions, Tigers, Pistons. Like what’s in the water dude. Since 2022 all 3 of those teams have had significant injuries that have either derailed their season or cost them significant in the postseason. Same ballgame as what happened in May, another bullpen collapse. POTG: Framber
