The Rays had a no-hitter through 8 innings thanks to 1.1 no hit innings from Casey Legumina and 6.2 from Ian Seymour. Craig Kimbrel came into the game for the ninth, walked Starling Marte (who was the only other baserunner the rest of the game on a walk in the sixth), struck out Tyler Tolbert, then lost the no hitter on a homer by Carter Jensen. He closed out the game following that homer, but ultimately ended it knowing he had lost some history in the process. Overall great game from the Rays’ pitching staff. Junior Caminero also hit 3 homers in this game, with one being off of Tyler Tolbert (primarily an infielder) in the eighth.

That’s what we call a bullpen melt down kids. Kansas City complete shat the bed if I’m being completely honest. If you’re going to give up lots of runs you gotta score but they could not do that either. Tampa kept putting it on late. I really like this Tampa team hopefully they can keep on winning. Would love a Dodgers rays rematch in the World Series!
