Max Meyer is 9-0. The Marlins offense scored just in time to give the soon to be all-star the victory. Graham Pauley came up huge with the go ahead RBI double in the eighth, followed immediately by a rain delay. When play came back, the Marlins scored one more on a groundout in the eighth and then Jakob Marsee knocked in two on an RBI single in the ninth inning to give some insurance, before Calvin Faucher locked it down in the bottom half of the inning. Wiami Warlins are big in June.

A terrific pitching duel between McGreevey and Meyer that ends in the Fishes' win. For as much as both of these wonderful pitchers had the hitters in the palm of their hand, it always seemed that Meyer was more cleaner through the innings, using a feeble amount of pitches alongside dominating any player at the plate who dared to walk--it took a very long time until any Cardinal to reach 2nd base. Meanwhile, the Marlins being ruthless on the basepath led to Ruiz scoring the first run, which opened the gates to three more in the late hours. That would have never happened, however, without the help of those heroic characters, the St. Louis grounds crew, who succesfully put on the tarp during a short monsoon to ensure great baseball for all! Came and went pretty fast, the broadcast didn't even have a break. Of course, when a shutout like this happens, Max Meyer must rely on the Marlins defense to provide some good plays, and they did. This is just a scary team.
