Sox get their first win at progressive in two years and one day, bullpen finally didn't blow it in the 9th as all star Miguel Vargas drives one in for insurance

Offense couldn’t get the job done today. Yay for Hedgie hitting a homer.

Bats were asleep apart from a Hedges bomb. So many guys left on base. My all-star Parker Messick battled through 5 without his command or best stuff though. Difference between tonight and last night was the bullpen. Shocking to think we won when our top 4 arms pitched and lost when our bottom 4 guys threw. Gotta get the win tomorrow to take the series.

Sean Burke throws an absolute gem striking out 11, a go ahead solo shot in the 8th from Colson Montgomery and an insurance run in the 9th was enough to hold off Cleveland and keep the Sox hopes of evening the series alive 🥳
