WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL JUST HAPPENED. The Marlins win a nail biter after Eury Perez threw seven perfect innings AND WAS TAKEN OUT WITH 92 PITCHES. Clayton McCullough decided to bring in Lake Bachar, who was literally imperfect, not getting a single out and giving up 5 runs on 6 batters (including a grand slam to Jonah Heim. Michael Petersen came in and got three outs (perfectly as well might I add). The Marlins added one run in the top of the ninth, which ended up being HUGE. Pete Fairbanks allowed the tying run to come up to the plate in Jonah Heim. He singled in two runs to bring the score to 9-8 (the Marlins led 8-0 heading into the seventh inning). Thankfully, he got out of the inning with the Marlins victory still in hand. Shout out the Marlins offense in being amazing, including Otto Lopez with 3 RBIs and Heriberto Hernandez with 2 HRs, both with 3 hit games. This bullpen needs to step up after this atrocious ending for a game. McCullough is going to be questioned for his decisions

Whoever the Marlins manager is should be fired before the Mexico-England game starts. Eury Perez, 7 PERFECT innings. 92 pitches. He’s still going strong, then you decide to take him out? Up 8-0, if he loses the perfect game, take him right out then. Even if its a homer, that just makes it a 7-run game. Instead, they take him out and the bullpen completely falls apart. 5 runs in the 8th. They are lucky they scored a run in the top of the ninth because if they didn’t they’re in extra innings right now. I think now is the best time to mention I’ve been a Eury Perez supporter since the day he entered the league. I expected him to replace Sandy Alcantara as the Marlins ace. And now he’s starting to look great.
