Gavin getting back to his old self and a 3 home run day from the offense is enough to break the skid and avoid the sweep. Really could use 2 (or 3) wins against the Fish before the break but I can’t say I’m very confident.

Gavin Williams couldn't miss the target at Target Field tonight, notching 11 strikeouts to give the Guardians a W. And who doesn't love the long ball? DeLauter with the go-ahead homerun, he talks cool-headed on the televised interview, I like the young chap.

Now that’s more like it. Seven innings from Williams and 11 strikeouts. Gaddis and Smith shut it down. The offense put up 5 runs. I hope the Guardians carry this into their next series. It would be nice to go into the break on a high note.
