Hunter Greene what a game. I hate that he's had to battle so many injuries because he was primed to be an absolute superstar. While he has fought back from those injuries, it has shown a considerable drop in his velocity, which was his best trait. So its great to see a guy I invested in big time pitch a game like this. This was only his second game this season, in his first, against the Orioles, he allowed 8 runs in only 3 and a third innings. But in the past 2 seasons, he has had ERAs of 2.76 and 2.75, so it really does look like he is becoming the pitcher he was meant to be. I do still think he'll be a superstar pitcher for a Reds team that will be a World Series contender in 2-3 years. Yep, you read that right. The Reds will be playing in an NLCS by 2029.
