All of a sudden the bats are alive again. Hits from the majority of the lineup, 2 HRs, 8 runs scored. And if you told me the game where the starter leaves in the second inning was the only game in the series we'd win I'd tell you to fuck off. But the bullpen keeps things locked down from there, with a 2 run HR from Aranda being the only damage taken. Even Michael Rucker has an (almost) 1-2-3 inning.
They looked like the Mariners again.
I'm not sold yet. One good game is not going to fix everything that's ailing this team. Not even a good series. But going into the break with this good a win is something to hang your hat on. Now is the time to reset, find what needs fixing, and move forward.
