After dropping the final 2 for a disappointing split with the White Sox on Sunday, I asked for 4-2 going into the break. The Guardians responded with two ugly losses in Minnesota. I was ready to check out and get to the all-star break. But, a switch must have been flipped as they took the finale from the Twins and now swept the red hot Marlins to go into the break with some real momentum. Cantillo got a well-earned win after the defense abandoned him last time out and all 9 hitters reached base. Martinez and Ramirez should be back soon as we rest up for a fun second half.
