11 in a row AND YOUR BOSTON RED SOX ARE .500 AND IN A WILD CARD SPOT!!! I never thought I'd see it with this team but its finally happened. The Twins will likely hold on to beat the Cubs and knock us back out but man its a great feeling. Wilyer Abreu with 2 home runs in this one, and Willson Contreras in his first at bat back from suspension goes yard. Didn't love the pitching decisions in this one, think it should've been Bello coming in for Rivera, but we got the win. Junior Caminero with a homer, just no way we were going to avoid that. He's just so good. Aroldis Chapman closes it out and this right now is the best day of the Red Sox season. We may never lose again. From 14 games under .500 to back up there and in a playoff spot. LETS GO BABY.

RED SOX BACK TO .500👀👀👀

Lots of back and forth early, Abreu hit 2 home runs in this one, beast mode activated. With this win, the Red Sox have won 11 in a row for the first time since 2016. Also .. I thought Contreras was suspended?

I did not believe I would see this day come so soon. THE RED SOX ARE BACK TO .500! Great day for the Sox, depending on the twins game we could be in a wild card spot by the end of the night. Another good game by the Sox, pitching shutout them out after the first couple innings, and have yourself a day wilyer Abreu. If you told me after we lost the series to the Rockies, that we would be in a possible playoff spot and on an eleven game win streak, I would think you were a dreamer. Well now dreams have came to reality, and the Boston Red Sox ARE BACK! Also I did I forget to mention that we just won to straight games by an average of 6 runs against the team with the BEST RECORD IN THE AL!

Much better performance from the Rays, but they’re still leaving with a loss, just a more respectable one. Breath of fresh air compared to the first game. The Rays immediately showed that this wasn’t gonna be a repeat of the afternoon game when they got a rally going and DeLuca drove in a couple runs. A much better start that could help Tampa pull this off, only to watch the Red Sox outdo it completely in the bottom of the inning thanks to 2 home runs from Wilyer Abreu and Contreras. Instead of small ball like the first game, it was jacks, mostly from Abreu who was on fire in the first few innings and proved it when he got a home run in the bottom of the 3rd to offset Junior Camineiro’s and keep Boston’s lead. The Rays never tied it up again and the Red Sox didn’t cruise, but they drove to victory while the annoyed Rays sat in the passenger seat. We also got cameo appearances from both Craig Kimbrel and Aroldis Chapman in this game which I thought was fun, but not much else was fun.

Can't believe it!!! Back to .500!! Wilyer was the star of the show with two dingers, but Willson made his return meaningful with a bomb of his own to put the team ahead. The bullpen was nails, Cheng and Seigler got a chance to shine, and even Dave O'Brien was electric as he announced Boston's 11th straight victory. This season isn't over folks. It's just getting started.
