THEY BROKE THE LOSING STREAK. I’M ABOUT TO RUN AROUND TOWN SCREAMING THAT THE MARLINS WON A GAME LIKE PAUL REVERE. THIS WAS THE PERFECT ENDING TO THE STREAK. IT LOOKED LIKE THEY BLEW YET ANOTHER GAME AND THE OFFENSE FINALLY STEPPED UP IN THE NINTH AND TOOK IT BACK. I AM REALLY HOPING THIS IS THE TURNING POINT. FINALLY YES YES YES.

You’ve made strides as an organization with a brilliant mind as your GM, you were even 10 games above .500, but right when hope was flowing through their veins, you snatched it away a 12-game losing streak. Then, you give your fans hope again, you take an early lead. You make Zack Wheeler look like he’s back with the Mets and hold onto a 3-run cushion. Otto Lopez looks fantastic and everyone thinks you’ll end the losing streak. Not so fast, it can’t be too easy. The Phillies clawed back into it with Justin Crawford of all people giving Philadelphia the lead with an RBI single. Don’t forget your former catcher Realmuto giving them an insurance run. Finally, it was your shining moment! Jhoan Duran comes out and looks helpless against your hitters, allowing Griffin Conine to walk it off. Cinema!
