Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. And Ceddanne Rafaela got lucky in this one. The Sox only had one inning of offense. but with the bases loaded and 2 outs it looked like Ceddanne Rafaela flew out to left to end the inning, but it somehow just kept carrying and was almost robbed but found its way to a home run and Ceddanne's first grand slam.
Payton Tolle struggled early in this one and it looked like it would be another bad start, he hasn't been great lately, but he locked in and despite another homer later he went a solid 5 and a third with only 2 runs, and the bullpen took care of business. Good win to start the roadtrip. I am now tired. Good night.

We looked dead, we couldn’t hit the ball for most of the game. Ceddanne changed that with one swing of the bat, which coincidentally was 5 seconds before I started listening to the game. We ended up getting outhit by the a’s, but we still won. Hopefully Curtis mead is not injured, since we just trade a big pitcher in our rotation for him.
