This was a game I thought all the way through the Sox were bound to lose. We got a solid outing from Patrick Sandoval but the bats seemed dead. Shoutout to Nick Sogard, had a big RBI in his first game back in the majors. Caleb Durbin won't get a lot of credit for this game but he had a huge 3 for 4 game. Ultimately though Andruw Monasterio had the big hit with that 10th inning two run blast. Monasterio hasn't been the best this year but that was huge.
The bullpen yet again was great. As always Whitlock and Chapman locked things down, but in a pure shockedr, Inherited Runners Man Greg Weissert comes in with the extra inning runner on 2nd and shuts them out to end it. Hopefully the Sox can take game 4 with Sonny Gray on the mound to win this series.

This was a great game to watch. Through the first couple innings it started to feel like game 2, but we ended up tying it and sent it to extras, where Andrew monasterio hit that 2 run homerun. Somehow Patrick Sandoval didn’t pitch that badly, keeping us in the game. Hopefully game 4 we have more offense.
