Janson Junk is objectively an incredible name for a pitcher. And he was throwing junk today, Mets could not hit him, he allowed not a single earned run in his 5 innings of work. Kyle Stowers had a huge blast for Miami as well. He is one of the most underrated hitters in baseball. 15 home runs so far this season, the .233 average isn't great but last season he hit .288 with 25 homers. He was absolutely awful in Baltimore in the time he was even in the majors and not in Triple A, but since being traded to the Marlins along with Connor Norby for Trevor Rogers in 2024, he's been great. Rogers looked great last season for Baltimore with a 1.81 ERA, but has been nowhere near as good this season for Baltimore. Overall the past couple years Baltimore's rotation has just been terrible, his last season was a very rare bright spot.
