Yet another big letdown from the Angels. This game started as a great pitchers duel between Reid Detmers and Trevor Rodgers! Both of them allowed only one hit through the first three innings of their outings! Unfortunately, Detmers would get roughed up in the fourth. Tyler O’Niel would crush a ball for a two run bomb, and Coby Mayo would make it back to back with an even farther smash. The Angels did show a bit of life afterwards though! Jose Siri would get one back with a homer of his own, and Wade Meckler would make it a one run game with an RBI hit! Ben Joyce also made his first appearance since early April of last year! That would be all for the Angels short lived comeback though because Leody Tavares would hit an absolute wall scraper to extend the Orioles lead, and Andrew Kittredge made very short work of the Halos in the ninth. The Angels have dropped eight of their last 10 games. The Angels now need to finish out the season 20-28
