The game in a few words, Rockies dominate they are going to win, dbacks are close to coming back but can’t do it

The Rockies are somehow able to survive this game, and come away with a win! The Diamondbacks got off to a great start with an efficient inning from Merrill Kelly and a run in the first, but it was all downhill from there! Kelly looked downright bad in the second as he was roughed up in a four run inning that was capped off with a three run bomb from Brett Sullivan! Zac Veen would give Colorado some more insurance with a two run home run inning the fourth, and they would need it! Arizona would try to make a comeback and they would cut the lead to two on a Corbin Carroll homer in the eighth, but they were terrible with runners in scoring position! They had 10 walks while only one of them scored, and they left 15 runners on base as they can’t complete the comeback! The Rockies take a series in Chase Field for the first time since July of 2022!
