My first field of dreams viewing so I’m giving it a couple extra points on the rating. Very cool scene looks like a green screen. I was confident Philly was going to win but man they blew it out the cornfield!

Field of Dreams game was such a great atmosphere but the game itself was a complete letdown. Schwarber with two bombs into the cornfield and Luke Keaschall with one of his own-then kinda helped Schwarber with his second. In the 5th when the Twins were only down 5-1 they had the bases loaded with 2 outs but Aaron Nola got out of it and that was the last chance the Twins had to get back in the game.

This game was very fun, but I wish it was closer. Kyle Schwarber got it going right away with a bomb into the corn, and the Phillies never looked back! Philadelphia would add on one more in the first before Luke Keaschall would get one of those runs back with a solo shot! That would be all for the Twins though because Aaron Nola pitched a great game! He only allowed five hits over five innings with that one homer being his only blemish! The Phillies would really start pouring it on after that. Schwarber would get hit another ball out of the ballpark to spark a rally that gave Philadelphia a 5-1 lead, and one more Brandon Marsh home run would make it 7-1. I love all of these special baseball games, but this would’ve been a lot better if Minnesota put up a fight

Raised a bit bc of course it’s *the* Field of Dreams game. I don’t care how cynical I get the cheesy intros where they have the players come out of the corn field will always get to me. But this has the framework of an otherwise unremarkable game. Phillies got off to a fast start and never relinquished. Twins offense squandered their few scoring opportunities. Makes me wanna look into other oddball places Major League Baseball can be played (Grand Canyon game maybe?)

Really fun game. The opening ceremony was also beautiful. Rollie Fingers has to be the greatest baseball name to ever exist, also one fantastic mustache he still maintains. Need to ask him for some tips. I also find it hilarious that Jeff Kent and Barry Bonds were in the same area, I would’ve thought we would get another round of those two on air. Wish Minnesota didn’t blow. Lewis blew the game with that 5th inning strikeout with bases loaded. Schwarber with a multi hr game, including a leadoff HR to start the game. SF Giant legend Luis Arraez with a good game as well. Is Aaron Nola like…. Good again????? Overall really fun.

Quite a good game all around from the Phillies!? Nola was strong 9 Ks 1 ER. Marsh goes yard. And ofc, Kyle hits a pair. Add .5 for it being the field of dreams game had a great time watching it

I enjoyed this one, while most seem to think it's fairly middling. Maybe it's my weird Phillies bias, but it's fun seeing Schwarber launch nukes into the cornfield and see Aaron Nola look like his old self. Maybe I also kind of hate the Twins so seeing them get blown out was satisfying. Only thing that kind of turned me off was the advertising plastered in the outfield. A Fan Duel logo in the Field of Dreams feels like a grim omen of love for the sport being consumed by greed and gambling. But on the other hand, maybe that's what it always has been.

Field of Dreams is back! I’m so happy to see those cornfields once again. Not as romantic as having the White Sox play, but I’ll take it. The field is gorgeous and allows me to ignore the desecration Netflix calls a scorebug. But more importantly we got an okay game with beautiful set dressing. We started off with a bang thanks to a Schwarbomb. He set the tone as the Phillies bullied Taj Bradley. It was honestly surprising he only gave up 2 runs in the first inning. Luckily, Schwarber refused to let Taj escape with his dignity and hit another home run with some help from Keaschall who tipped it over the fence and into the corn field. It probably still goes over without the tip, but a home run robbery would’ve been cool to see. Instead, it confirmed the Phillies beatdown. Sucks for Keaschall because he actually hit Minnesota’s only home run, but most people will probably remember him for that moment in this game. The actual Field of Dreams propels it to green, but not higher than 6.7.
