The playoff plot thickens. Braves shelled. Grant Holmes gets the Hell number on his head. Small Ball sorta won the game aside from two jomers by Arenado n 2 run dinger by Ildemaro Vargas.

Arenado showed off with a 2-homer day, his first 20-dinger season since 2023, Moreno and Vargas added big hits from the plate against a slumping Grant Holmes, while Eduardo Rodriguez rebounded from a shaky start

This was a huge blowout win for the Diamondbacks. They beat the Braves in a low scoring game last night so they decided to switch it up. This would actually end up being a comeback win because Atlanta got a pair of runs in the first inning, but that lead did not last long at all. A three run rally in the second gave Arizona a lead they never even got close to giving up. They got three more home runs in this game and never stopped scoring until the very end. The Braves did get one back in the ninth, but it was way too late at that point as the Snakes cruise to the series win
