The Diamondbacks can’t complete the sweep. This was a nice start from Michael Soroka and, even though he gave up a pair of runs, he would not be in line for the loss! Arizona made two comebacks on a pair of home runs off the bat of Gabriel Moreno and Ildemaro Vargas! Unfortunately for the Snakes, Atlanta would grab a lead they wouldn’t give back up. Matt Olsen hit a late three run nuke to take a commanding lead. The Diamondbacks tried to rally in the ninth, but it would come up short. The Braves salvage the last game of this series
