SOX WIN! By the 6th inning the Sox were up 9-1 and each one of those RBIs had come from a different hitter, every single starter with an RBI. Adley Rutschman gets his first RBI with the Red Sox. Mickey Gasper announces his return to the majors with a solo homer. Wyatt Olds gets his first career strikeout. Alec Gamboa with a great opener outing, Brayan Bello as always incredible out of the bullpen and the rare Greg Weissert good outing. Just a peak game. I love the Red Sox.

This was a really tough watch. I was optimistic for the Diamondbacks going into this game, but wow did they not live up to that expectation. Boston completely ran away with this game right away, and they never looked back. The Red Sox already had a seven run lead before Arizona finally got on the board, but that run would mean absolutely nothing because Boston kept adding on. They never stopped scoring as they take the series opener by wiping the floor with the Diamondbacks. At least Jack enjoyed this game

Started the season being pretty bad at home, but now it seems the Sox were desperate to get back to Fenway!
Weird but good one, with Marte being a no-show none of the doomers could complain about missing out on him over the off-season.
Gamboa was maybe the best opener of the season, Bello didn't crumble under the pressure (as usual in his bullpen appearances), and the offense hit doubles aplenty and didn't strike out at all???? I don't know how that's even possible!

Each starter driving home a run for the Sox, Adley Rutschman looking to finally break out of his Sox slump with that double, Mickey Gasper using the pesky pole to his advantage for his first Boston dinger, Contreras hitting his 25th Boston dinger to the Monster and Rafaela and Durbin both going for three hits, 2 runs and an RBI. Sox kicked off their homestand in powerhouse form
