Amazing win. Adley Rutschman with a 2 RBI single and then hits his first home run on the Red Sox. Mickey Gasper goes dead center for his 2nd home run in as mnay days. One bad inning from Ranger Suarez, allowing a grand slam, but every other inning he was great and as always the bullpen locked things down. 2nd straight win and a chance to sweep the Diamondbacks tomorrow. Nick Sogard, Willson Contreras, and Caleb Durbin all with solid offsensive contributions tonight, really all the bats looked good.

The Diamondbacks had one good inning, and proceeded to do absolutely nothing else. That one good inning was thanks to a Gabriel Moreno grand slam that gave them the lead after they gave up three runs in the first inning, but that lead didn’t even make it out of that very same frame. The Red Sox never slowed down after grabbing the lead. Boston failed to score in the fourth, but they added on four runs through the next three innings. Either way, this was another huge letdown for Arizona. At least the Ketel Marte situation has a reason

Looked hairy for half a second! But one grand slam doesn't deter Ranger from continuing his outing smoothly, and the Sox build off of their early runs thanks to Adley, Mickey, and the rest. Feels good to be back at Fenway, and the Red Sox are finally .500 at home.

Adley’s first HR at Fenway looked amazing.
Duran’s bad luck is so frustrating. He’s made some great contact but it just seems to always go to the wrong place.
The Jimmy Fund is really one of the best charities in sports.
That reaching over-the-shoulder catch from Wilyer to get to the bottom of the 6th was beautiful.
I love Mickey Gasper. Even if he needs to go back to the mustache.
