Luis Robert Jr with 2 home runs on his former team! Overall, LuBob has been terrible this season, .222 with less than 10 homers, but doing that against your former team is just such a great feeling. Bo Bichette with a home run as well, he has not come close to living up to his big contract, a very very common theme amongst New York Mets free agent signings. The rookie Carson Benge also goes yard, a guy on the outside looking in for the National League Rookie of the Year race but in my opinion should be in it more. And can't forget Luis Torrens' pinch hit bomb. 5 homers for the Mets on the day, terrible outing from the Southside's deadline acquisition of Luis Castillo.
