Ryan Johnson have a game! 7 shutout innings for the Angels for Johnson in this game. 5.75 ERA but that's the beauty of baseball. Especially for a starting pitcher, at any point a pitcher can just become completely shutdown for a game and be absolutely unhittable, and that was the case for Ryan Johnson in this game.

Went from not being able to hit with RISP to not being able to hit at all 🤦♂️ We're going backwards here people...
On a night that was dedicated to our first divisional championship and first playoff team, we get further away from both of those goals.

What a complete win for the Halos that mostly makes up for last night! This game would be just about the opposite as that last game because it was the Angels’ offense that got all of the hits! They finished with ten hits which they got three runs off of! That isn’t as many as I would’ve liked, but it was more than enough tonight because Ryan Johnson was amazing! He went seven scoreless innings while taking a no-hitter into the sixth and only allowing four baserunners! The bullpen looked great after he came out too as they both didn’t allow much traffic, and propelled the Angels to the finish! Great bounce back win to even the series! The Angels need to finish the season 11-21
