Nick Martinez with another amazing game to strengthen his case for the Cy Young award. Certainly on the outside looking in at guys like Dylan Cease, Cam Schlittler, and Sonny Gray, but both him and Drew Rasmussen have been incredible this year. I know the Rays have fallen flat on their face after great regular seasons way too many times in the past, but it really does seem like this is going to be the Rays first real World Series appearance since 2008. Having those 2 elite pitchers, in the playoffs, gives you such a better chance, and if Shane McClanahan can come back healthy, its gonna be tough to hit them. Of course, the offense is the uncertainty with this team. Junior Caminero hasn't played in the playoffs yet, and while I have full faith he'll be a stud, I need to see it. Yandy Diaz I do believe will be elite, and Jonathan Aranda and Liam Hicks have been great this year, but its a huge dropoff after those 4, and you need more than 4 great hitters in the playoffs.
