The end of this game was great, even if it was extremely long! I turned this on in the eighth inning and I planned on watching just a bit before going to bed, but the Padres were holding me hostage after Jake Cronenworth tied it on a hit! Cronenworth would also make some amazing plays to save some runs in extras! This one needed extras, and even though San Diego was able to keep the Pirates off of the board in the 10th, they followed one of the worst half innings I’ve ever seen! A pop up bunt double play started the bottom half of the inning, and the Padres only ended up sending two batters to the plate in the 10th! Pittsburgh couldn’t score again in the 11th and San Diego loaded the bases, but there would still be more baseball to play! The Pirates finally got a run across in the third extra inning, and the Padres still couldn’t score as the Pirates win a very long one! At least there was a little payoff for staying up an hour later than I thought I would
