FIVE IN A ROW BABY I FUCKIN LOVE THE RED SOX!!!!!!!! MICKEY GASPER THE GREATEST HITTER TO TOUCH THIS PLANET! 2 home runs and dude was the only offense during the regular 9 innings. Tolle was alright and the bullpen locked in. A really weird run for the Sox and then a really weird run for the Marlins in the tenth inning and then Jarren Duran comes up huge! A top of the 11th inning grand slam! 17 RBIs for him in the 9th inning or later, which LEADS THE MLB! Does Duran get too much hate?

This team is not a playoff team. Never was. Thank you Mickey “Barry Bonds” Gasper for showing me that. He allowed it to get to extras where the Marlins let the Red Sox win but wait the Red Sox let a passed ball get by on the game ending strike three to give the Marlins a chance. Then they proceed to give up a demolished grand slam to Jarren Duran. This team does not nearly produce enough on offense to make any kind of run. When they were good in June/beginning of July, the offense was producing. But that hasn’t stayed the same. When they lost 12 straight, the offense didn’t produce and the bullpen couldn’t keep it close late. The bullpen has been decent lately but the offense has been nowhere near good. No runs being produced. The Marlins will end under .500 this season, potentially with a worse record than last year due to them playing so many playoff teams down the stretch. Most of this team has been pitiful since the all-star break. Inexcusable atrociousness.

The Red Sox win an extra innings thriller! Mickey Gasper started this game for Boston with a homer, and he hit another one out right after Miami tied it up! The Marlins were able to tie it up again though on a home run of their own, and this game ended up needing extras! Boston took the lead on a wild pitch in the 10th, but they ended up paying it back by letting Miami tie it on a wild pitch of their own on a strikeout that would’ve ended the game! Thankfully for the Red Sox, they were able to get out of that jam and respond in a big way in the 11th! Jarren Duran hit a go-ahead grand slam to give Boston a huge lead they didn’t give up! The Marlins couldn’t come back as Boston wins yet again!

The Red Sox with yet another late comeback. The baseball gods have deemed Boston worthy; even after blunders as sick and twisted as a game-tying wild pitch strikeout they still gift us with a go-ahead grand slam in the eleventh by the struggling Jarren Duran. Was it a coincidence seeing his clutch rating being posted on the timeline today? Cosmic justice, perhaps.

Mickey gasper you fuckin legend. HE IS THE BEST HITTER ALIVE RIGHT NOW, AND THIS GAME PROVED IT. 2 HOMERUNS were our only offense, but tolle pitched well enough to send us to extras. We got a run in a very strange way, which is also how I would describe the marlins’ run. But in the 11th Jarren Duran hit a grand slam which put this game away. THATS 5 IN A ROW FOR THE SOX!
