What a pathetic excuse for a baseball team. The Angels got off to a great start, even if it wasn’t quite as good as last night, with three runs in the first two innings. They got their run in the first inning on a pair of hits, the latter bringing Neto in on a throwing error. The other two came in the second after Neto got hit with the bases loaded, and Trout hit a sacrifice fly. Those two hits in the first inning would turn out to be their only hits until the ninth. Cleveland got a ton of hits, but they didn’t start chipping away until later. The Guardians were also making a ton of great defensive plays to end opportunities to aff on. They brought the deficit down to one going into the ninth where Watson blew the save and allowed the Guardians to take the lead. The Angels did get a chance to respond, but they would of course come up short again. The Halos fail to salvage a single game in this series as the Guardians continue their win streak. The Angels need to finish the season 11-17

We have never been more back. Another come from behind win to stun the Halos and sweep both the season series with them and the road trip. 7 wins and our first perfect multi-city trip in almost 4 years. Cantillo, the king of 5 (or 4) and dive managed to turn in a quality start despite walking 7 batters. I asked for 9-3 in this stretch and they’re 8-1. Gonna have to ask for a series win vs the Royals and 10-2.
