Good win for Arizona as they really needed to bounce back. This game was close for the first two innings and the Giants actually had a lead, but the Diamondbacks really started to pour it on in the third. A pair of homers with the latter being good for three runs gave the Snakes a lead they wouldn’t give up. San Francisco did bring the deficit back down to one run, but Arizona was able to pull back away and restore it to five runs. One more run for the Giants weren’t nearly enough as Arizona coasts their was to a blowout dub. They are now within half a game of the last wild card spot!
