The game doesn't matter, today was always going to get a 10/10. You can't tell the story of the Toronto Blue Jays without Buck Martinez and it was great to see the franchise past and present come together to celebrate him. The voice of the Jays for decades, we'll never have another one like Buck Martinez.

A game between two pitchers I was really interested to see how they performed. Kade Anderson, recently promoted, the top pitching prospect in baseball, and he was alright, but just not a lot of length. 4 and a third, allowing 2 runs. For the Blue Jays, Jose Soriano, who I loved the deadline acquisition of, pitched a very solid 7 innings, allowing 3 runs, good enough for the bullpen to close it out. Louis Varland has been absolutely sensational this year and that continued tonight with a save against the Mariners.

Thank you buck for all that you’ve done, no one more deserving to be in the hall than him, i will miss him calling homie shitler, i will miss the phone ringing, and im glad that in his last year the boys put together a great great run for him. This game was lost by the Mariners the second the schedule put them against us this weekend.
a 0-3 comeback against the mariners? Where have I seen that one before?
