This wasn’t a fun game. It was close for a while, but the Giants blew it open in the fifth. Three runs in that inning gave them a big cushion that the Diamondbacks never really cut into. Arizona did get one of those runs back, but San Francisco made up for it by tacking on an additional three runs. This was a very rough game from the D-Backs as they have to settle for the split in the double header. I know that the Giants have to get to Atlanta for a makeup game so they need the extra off day, but I don’t like having a series end on a Saturday

Terrible for the Diamondbacks. They've lost two of the first three to one of the worst teams in the league right in the middle of a Wild Card race. It's nearly September, that cannot happen. Bryce Eldridge with a huge 4 RBI offensive day to lead the Giants to victory.

While the freezing air had me feeling like that Bob Dylan album cover everything else was pretty #great
