Last time a Red Sox-Yankees game ended 16-1 the Red Sox won the World Series all I’m saying 🤷♂️
That first Yankees rally was absolute bullshit, clear catch by Ceddanne, but no excuse for this. Absolute shit. Have to recover fast. Only good takeaway is that Roman Anthony and Trevor Story looked good in their returns. Overall though that just fucking sucked.

What the actual fuck did I just witness. We were looking good for the first couple innings, then a dumbass call keeps us in the fucking inning, which we then lose the stalemate. Then we could’ve had some fight inside of us, then we can’t do shit on offense. We haven’t been able to do shit on offense for the last 6 games. We are looking like the early season Red Sox, but with awful pitching. To take a quote from Dave O’Brien (anyone want to guess what year this was from?): “How do you come back from this”. This was the most important game of the season, and now the Yankees get home field when we inevitably face them in the wild card round. Now I’m gonna go off on the umpires/review system (fair warning, I will curse a lot here): WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING. THAT WAS A FUCKING CATCH HOW CAN YOUR DUMBASSES NOT SEE THAT? WHATS THE POINT OF YOUR FUCKING JOBS IF YOU CANT SEE SHIT? ANYONE EXCEPT FOR THE UMPIRES AND REVIEWS COULDVE SEEN THAT WAS A CATCH, AND CEDDANE KNEW IT YOU FUCKING IDIOTS

The start of the game was good, then the bottom of the 5th came along and that’s when it all took a turn for the worse…Ceddy 100% caught that ball and there should’ve been an easy double play. I still cant belive WILL WARREN of all people completely cooked us for 7 innings?! Then giving up NINE RUNS in the bottom of the 8th?! Absolute embarrassment of a game. Very negative, but at least Roman Anthony and Trevor Story combined for 4 of our 7 hits but idk
