Didn't watch this one, was recording a podcast with a friend, but I did correctly predict this one. I thought Ghana was Ghana win and they did. I also predicted they were Ghana hold a clean sheet, which they did as well. I think they are Ghana finish 3rd in the group because they are Ghana lose to England and Croatia. However, I think they are Ghana be one of the 3rd place teams that makes it to the knockout rounds, but they are Ghana lose in the round of 32. I don't think they are ever Ghana come as close to winning a World Cup as they did in 2010.

Those who say expanding to 48 teams would dilute the field… you were correct on this one. Lucky a goal was scored or this would have been a 0.1

This was a snooze fest until Ghana somehow scored in the 90 minute to win the game

It was wet. It was slippery. I was slow. But oeverall it was okay.

Let me contain myself… deep breaths, everyone. Ok being realistic this game was just not good in my opinion. Sloppy play all around. Neither team can figure out what to do offensively and just look like they were guessing in the midfield. I still think Panama is a better team, Ghana didn’t necessarily play great but neither team did. Panama could not get a single cross together. I loved the Ghana fans they looked like they were a great bunch to be around. Panama fans are left depressed and devastated. The biggest chance for Panama was in the third minute. My picks are in trouble, I needed this one. Hopefully we can bounce back, I never had Ghana winning so I’m not that upset but still.

I’m not bitter, what makes you say that?! Jokes aside, this was an intriguing matchup. It is the first time these nations have ever matched up ever. After everything Ghana has tried to pull recently in my home nation, it’s safe to say I was rooting for Panama. Sadly, we got a ‘brutish’ type of game (for lack of a better term). Both Panama and Ghana seemed like they were more interested in a draw than they were actually winning until the last 30 minutes. Combine that with the rain making the game mucky and it does not make for entertaining football. Both sides had a decent amount of chances, they just never got close to scoring. Panama in particular got worse and worse as the game went on. That allowed Ghana to look more menacing on the counter and in the final minutes, Panama paid the price for their missed opportunities. Then we got a fight. Usually I’d find it entertaining, instead, I saw it as delaying the inevitable. All it did was confirm the result and drag the game on.

Honestly I’d say Panama looked like the better team throughout but Ghana was actually able to bury one late to keep up the dramatics of this World Cup. All of the teams from Africa are scary man, they can make some waves

Very much underwhelming after the English game. Hard to follow that up. But I thought this Ghanaian squad would come out firing after halftime but not really. Very slow and tactical buildups were not what I think anyone was expecting

This was easily the worst game all tourney so far but shout out to the Black Stars for making it somewhat worth it at the end lol

This sucked. Like actually. 1 goal at the nipping ends of second half stoppage time saved it from being a flat 0 but as an offense enjoyer it sucked. Both teams weren't generating attacks like they should have and it led to a very boring game I turned off. The field is so diluted now why is Panama playing in the World Cup
