Not a bad game at all. Czechia struck in the 6th minute, but after fighting back for nearly 80 minutes, they got a PK in the 83rd minute to tie the game. I doubt either of these teams make it past the group stage, but getting a point each is huge if they can pull off upsets over Mexico or South Korea.

STOP GIVING ME DRAWS I WANT WINS I WANT LOSSES NOT THESE STUPID TIES! Czechia was very aggressive early (No I'm not calling them the Czech Republic. Deal with it.) and they cashed in finally in the 5th minute to take a very early lead. After that, South Africa started bringing some classic AFCON chaos ball to the World Cup shooting from 500 miles away and finally scoring right before stoppage time and unfortunately no other team could score in stoppage time for ANOTHER. DRAW. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Czechia’s gotta score more than one goal. Your lead is not safe when it’s 1-0. South Africa is a good team but they don’t play well together as a group. Czechia’s gotta be disappointed with this result, they needed the three points and now they are going to have to beat Mexico to have a chance at advancing. South Africa will have to take down a great South Korean squad to possibly advance to the knockouts. I did not think this game would be a draw, I’m kinda surprised. I had Czechia but they did not really feel like scoring today I watched this off my phone, bad experience, lots of lag and freezing. Onto the next.

Was so uninspiring it didn’t even qualify for background noise at work. Both teams look poor in their first match and didn’t look any better here. A point was deserving since neither side deserved to win. As uninspiring as Czechia were vs south korea I thought they’d beat a south africa side which looked like one of the worst teams in the tournament.
