game 58/104. glad i picked sweden/japan over this. netherlands essentially controlled their own destiny and needed a win and they certainly played like it from the beginning. netherlands was fully in control the entire time and never seemed like tunisia had a chance. really good game from practically everyone for the dutch as brobbey seems to be the unexpected hero of this team scoring his third of the group stage. this netherlands team looks good and i expect a lot from them in the knockouts

Tunisia walked into this game, jumped in their own grave, laid down and closed their eyes as the Netherlands buried them. They poked their head out briefly, only for the Dutch to smack them with their shovel before continuing to bury them. They are now a cautionary tale of the curse that can come with having an easy qualification group. But I’m gonna be honest, I have a bit of beef with Netherlands. They nearly ruined a great stat and I would’ve been very mad if they had. Thankfully, they didn’t, but I do not appreciate them stressing me out for an admittedly stupid reason. It was a total disaster to start with a Tunisia own goal and then a 2nd Dutch goal. It looked like 2026 Tunisia was going to become a contender for worst World Cup team ever. But then, the Dutch took their foot off the gas and Renard telling his team the infamy they were entering so they scored. I skipped the last 20 minutes to revel in Marina Mabrey’s legendary 50-bomb against the Sparks and I have 0 regrets.

Shoutout to Tunisia for scoring two goals this World Cup. I seriously did not see them doing that. The Netherlands breezed through this game with ease. They scored 2 goals in 10 minutes then let off the gas and cruised to a calm victory in the end. They will advance. Tunisia on the other had is eliminated. They should be proud they made it this far. They need more offensive players and a completely new defensive system. I had Netherlands all the way easy pick.

Netherlands was up 2-0 in the first like 10 minutes of the game and then cruised past the rest. They played calculated and didnt take any risks for next round. Secured their 1st place in the group and will have a tough match against Morocco in the Round of 32.
Tunisia had one of the worst World Cups in recent history imo. I thought they might shine with countries like egypt, iran, morocco, etc playing so well these past years. They did score 2 goals though and gave their country a little to celebrate during their time in the U.S
