I mean oh my god man. What do you even say anymore. Messi didn't play for the first 60 minutes of the game and still scored a goal. It's genuinely insane what he's doing at 38 years old. I'm sorry Vozinha but Messi is doing to you what Lamine Yamal couldn't.

Partido aburrido e intrascendente donde ninguno de los dos jugaba por algo, Argentina ya clasificada primera y Jordania ya eliminada. Mucha posesión de Argentina pero no logró traducirla en jugadas de ataque, poco peligro generó.

Un partido que Argentina pudo rotar a sus jugadores y ver que jugadores están para ser buenos posibles cambios, vimos un nivel alto de Lo Celso y Lautaro Martínez se reencontró con el Gol. Un Messi que siempre aparece. La selección hizo su trabajo.

Messi only needed one half to score and cruise past Jordan to finish the group 1st and be one of three teams with all 3 games won (Mexico, France, Argentina). Absolutely insane with 6 goals this World Cup and 7 consecutive World Cup games with a goal. No other words that than. Messi is the undisputed goat now for sure

Argentina is locked. Didnt start all of their best players and still made easy work of Jordan. Lo Celso had a wonderful free kick goal and he was always a player of promise but never got to truly show himself that was a great goal to see. Lautaro Martinez got a pen home. Al-Taamari responded for Jordan. But guess who subbed on. Lionel Messi. And he made a fabulous free kick of his own. Going around the wall to the left on a low driven kick where the keeper couldnt even see it before it was just about in the 6 yard box. Messi has now scored in 7 straight World Cup games. SEVEN.
