I have never cried so hard in my life. I was literally screaming and crying so bad. I was at the gym and was slobbering and shooting snot all over the dumbbells as I wailed and mourned for the L we as a country took. It hurt so bad. I then proceeded to crash my car into the local IKEA without realizing it cause I was blinded by tears of pure heartbreak. I then ended up in the ER with my Webkinz and a blankey as I sucked my thumb and sniffled. I was so brave that they gave me a popsicle. I pray Belgium loses by 6-7 goals :,(

Damn. This was the first time I was truly invested in a soccer team. And it looked so promising. That dominance against Paraguay. How much better the offense looked after Pulisic came on against Turkey. The suspension of Balogun’s red card. Seemed like all the pieces were coming together for a win over Belgium-even if it meant losing to Spain after. But then everything fell apart in this game. Pulisic didn’t do much. The defense looked terrible. McKennie played his worst game of the tournament. We had the hope from Tillman’s goal and it disappeared a minute later. On the bright side, the first 4 games of this team were so fun to watch, and man I excited for 2030.

Hi it’s me I’m back 2 days later. I just wanted to say how absolutely dog shit this team is. Throughout the entire tournament it was like watching a time bomb about to go off. And with all the controversy around Flo and the team it completely explode right in our faces. All the good vibes gone, All the progress gone. If we lost 3-4 that would be ok, we put up a fight and went down swinging to a good Belgium team, people could respect that. Not this, this was ungodly. This is the USMNT I know, this is the USMNT that’s here to stay.

Ouch. Just a deplorable game from the US. Tim Ream should be sent to China. Those first two goals are absolutely his fault. Didnt mark his man the first and got owned the second. There was the one minute of happiness when Tillman got his free kick deflected in, but then the Ream crap. Then the gut wrenching blow of seeing Freese come out, miss the kick and Belgium getting the goal. To finish it Lukaku sent a nice strike bottom right corner to really pour it on. Also got to give flowers to De Ketelaere for his ownership of Ream and Vanaken for his goal. Lots of poor performances from mostly everyone on squad and I won't single anyone out except Ream. Freese was fine Im not putting too much on him from the mistake. Not like the attack was doing anything. We look forward to the Copa American and then the World Cup in 30. Need a better result. But thanks for a nice run America.

All the roads of controversy have brought us here and thankfully we got a pretty good first half, only for it to taper off in the 2nd half. The Americans looked very nervous. At the very least, they looked unprepared as Belgium peppered them early before breaking through with a goal from De Ketelaere finding the gap in USA’s defence. That goal appeared to wake something up in the USA because they began to get more into the game. Tillman once again put all of USA’s rage into a free kick and beat Courtois to level the game. The crowd got loud and the players got hyped, surely the beginning of a rally. Instead, De Ketelaere scored in less than 2 minutes, killing that momentum. USA technically still had life in the 2nd half, but Freese’s costly error when he stubbed his toe killed any hope the USA had. They looked broken and played like a broken team for the last 40 minutes. Lukaku just nailed the final nail in their coffin. USA couldn’t get their attack going nor stop Belgian efficiency.

Very biased score I know. Not only was their a hint at possible corruption from the USA to get our striker back, we went out and lost 4-1. Our goalie was horrible, our defense was horrible. Belgium was able to sprint down the field and score with ease. Just an embarrassing way to go out for a team that felt like they had a little hope for the first time in a while.
