Morocco held their own in the first half, but as I expected, France’s attack was just too powerful to be stopped the entire game. I don’t think any nation in the world has the defense to stop the French and that’s why I have them winning the World Cup. Mbappe, Dembele, Olise, Barcola, Doue. Just an insane attack that is near impossible to stop. And their defense has also been stellar, not allowing a single goal so far in the knockout stages. The winner of France vs Spain will win the World Cup, and France will beat Spain.

We are running out of chances for France to be truly tested. Only 1 goal win was Paraguay but it was clear they were never gonna score. I suppose way back at the beginning of the group stage Senegal pulled it to 2-1 with a few minutes to go. That one minute before France made it 3-1 is about it for late match drama for the French.

It took a while, but France eventually broke Morocco down and tore them apart like they’ve done to so many teams, including Morocco themselves 4 years ago. This is the 2nd time in a row that Morocco has bowed out to France in the World Cup and this is the 3rd World Cup in a row that France has made it to the semi-final. One thing everyone knew going into this one was the fact that Morocco was going to be stout and they lived up to that reputation. The problem is that’s the only part they lived up to. Despite an incredible Bounou performance, including a save on an Mbappé penalty, the Atlas Lions couldn’t generate anything on the attack. Only shot they had came from a free kick. France eventually made Morocco rue their lack of desperation as the dictator made them kneel. Ousmane doubled the lead 5 minutes later. Even though Morocco finally managed to get some shots, including a good one that Maignan had to stop, they just couldn’t get enough and France once again crushed their dreams.

Taticamente a Seleção Marroquina é FORTÍSSIMA e fez uma ótima campanha nessa Copa! Mas quando a tática não dá certo…
Meus amigos: amasso da França. Jogo podia FACILMENTE ter sido 4x0 e isso mostra o quanto a Seleção Francesa é boa, tá maluco. Em questão tática, jogo coletivo, qualidade individual, nível técnico… OS CARAS TÊM TUDO!
Semifinal será mais interessante, mas mesmo assim vejo a França como grande favorita da chave a chegar à final!

Realmente Marruecos necesitaba a Saibari, aunque si tenían a rahimi lo hubieran puesto ya que creo que pudo haber intentado algo más que con los que salió el entrenador desde el inicio del partido. Gran actuación en el partido de Bounou haciendo que el partido sea el solo vs Francia
