That was a fun one in LA! Very unfortunate for Belgium that Courtois had to come off and then the Man U keeper had his spill. Both teams showed strong attacking ability and great defensive structure. Was an entertaining one, closely matched, with Merino once again the hero for Spain!

Spain did look better throughout but the Belgium defense basically let nothing through that entire 2nd half while being put under pressure constantly. The Courtois injury hurt them tons as the backup made an error giving Spain the winner close to the end of the game. Spain didn't look as good as I expected in this one, so I think France will be a tough challenge for them in the semis.
