Wow. Spain hands Mbappe his first World Cup loss in dominant fashion. They silenced France’s elite attack in a way I never expected they would. A huge penalty drawn by Yamal early scored by Oyarzabal (notice how he didn’t stutter step) and then in the second half Pedro Porro made it two. It looked like Lamine Yamal had put it away, but he was just a bit offsides.
France’s attack was just dead. They struggled to even get shots on goal much less score them. Olise was silent. This was one of Mbappe’s worst career World Cup performances. I thought no one could stop France’s offense, but Spain did perfectly. I think they beat Argentina in the final.
Game unfortunately did not live up to the high expectations it had.

I almost forgot that Spain are the European champions. I got lost from the hype for France, they are really scary on paper but their composure on this match was surprisingly lacking. I have never seen France this disheveled, all tournament they were really good until they faced España. French midfield and French chemistry was missing, with that, España controlled the pace and possession with an exceptional midfield defense and goalkeeping. I know España's style is boring for most people but their style worked and now they are in the finals.

Wow. Spain contained France the whole time. They looked so in control and thats because they were. Not much action for mbappe today on the scoreboard but he played really good and you just can't see that looking at the stats only. Spain just played great and they deserved the win. Looking ahead if the Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham manage to beat Argentina tommorow the 3rd place match is gonna be last years championship! (Yes I know that was obvious)Crazy how things work out sometimes. I think that France could have won this game if they played the Spanish again. Lamine Yamal Played great and I also didn't realize he was so fast. Yamal and Mbappe are both great and their supporting cast is also great but they are both just better at different things because france's attacking is better than spains but spain has the better midfield. The game changing factor was that spains strikers were great and france's were mid. This is not counting Mbappe BTW or yamal. Good Game Overall. W keeper

The most hyped game of the tournament and considering that, you have to say this was ultimately disappointing. That factors into this rating. That doesn’t mean there was no quality play, just not as much as we thought. If there ever was a game that proved the value of an elite midfield, this is the one. France’s attack was elite but they can’t crush teams when their midfielder can’t keep the ball nor help the squad transition from defence to attack. The days of N’golo Kante and Paul Pogba are long gone. Meanwhile Spain is feeling like 2010. They have an elite keeper with a great backline and a good attack, but all of that is lifted by an incredible midfield. Rodri and Fabian Ruiz masterfully shut down many of France’s rushes, but the man I think deserves the biggest shout is Dani Olmo. Despite his incredible 2024 Euros, he continues to get overlooked and he was phenomenal, creating most of Spain’s chances, including their 2nd goal that sealed the victory

Vaya partido de los Españoles , siempre pensé que España iba a ganar es el mejor equipo que le sabe jugar a Francia , una Francia borrada sin coordinación ni idea . España para campeona del mundo y la final espero que sea una España vs Argentina de esa Finalissima que nunca se jugó

Spain has taken down France and advance to the finals! Very disappointing performance from France, only 2 shots??? Come on they gotta be better than that with the “best attacking team ever”. Im so happy for Spain to be honest. They really deserve this, incredible defense and control of play. They have only conceded ONE goal all tournament long. England/Argentina better watch out because this team is not playing around. Shoutout Cape Verde 🇨🇻. Didier Deschamps is officially retiring from the France national team. He has put in so many matches as a player and coach. My champion pick is out! I was soooo high on this team but yet again I was wrong 😅. Let’s go Spain! Cucurella was spectacular today, that’s how you play defense kids take notes.

OLE! I cannot believe France flopped like that on live television. 0 GOALS!!!! This French team has been scoring goals like it’s nobody’s business! Mbappè and Dembelè totally “pas de chimie” no chemistry for the French today “un dèsastre total”! Spain onto the finals I never saw it coming!!!
