this was the FIRST game I ever went to at Coors field. Just finished orientation week and went with a bunch of my new friends, and we sat out in the rockpile and had a damn good time. Probably yapped more than actually watching the game, but that’s what Rockies games are for. A surprising win but a good win for this hometown fan’s first game home 🫶🏻

not a fun game to be at I can’t lie to you… especially when your date decides that we HAD to go hang out with his friends and proceeds to talk to them for six innings… bad game and bad experience (don’t worry, he got promptly turned down for the next date)

my first ever game I watched in Ball Arena as a lifelong fan!! Truly cannot describe how it is to watch Jokic play in person, it’s a mystery of science how he moves like that. Even better, I got to see MY Arizona Wildcat Pelle Larsson play in the FIRST QUARTER.

I’ll keep it 100% real with y’all. The reason this game gets ranked so high for me is I got to sit court side to watch warmups. SUCH a crazy experience to stand on the court. But the reason it gets up to the 9’s? I was wearing my Arizona jersey, Aaron Gordon SAW me, SMILED at me, AND told me “bear down”. Screw the game. I rate THAT experience a 9.3 out of 10 🫶🏻(points only removed bc I couldn’t get a picture because he was busy, but totally understand💔)

To watch Jokic drop 30/20/20 and it seeming like absolutely nothing is a truly insane experience. He moves like no other NBA player I’ve ever seen and it’s crazy to know you’re watching the greatest in the league at his peak. Can’t hate on that KD buzzer beater but the energy was HIGH in Ball Arena and the Suns couldn’t hang on.

There’s no place like home!! I cannot even begin to explain how amazing it was to be back in McKale. The more things change the more they stay the same. Somehow even on the Monday of Thanksgiving it was packed and loud. The cactus court earned extra points, I was actually really impressed with how good it looked without being distracting in person. As for the game — cats took their foot off the gas quite a bit and was a bit lazy on defense, but you can’t entirely blame them at this point after finally getting a break post beating three ranked teams on the road. The freshmen played amazing, and as a little treat, Carter Bryant was there!! I love the Arizona Wildcats and I’m so glad I got to come home.

Y’all… when I tell you my seats were three rows away from the court, I’m not exaggerating. Getting to sit this close in an NBA game is nuts. Hearing Jok command the offense was an experience I won’t soon forget. Just the whole thing was so damn cool to be that close. Yeah, we didn’t win, but honestly? I can’t be mad at the experience.
