Blue jays win in walk off fashion. The two wbc backups bats worried me going into the season but they won the game today. Gausman threw gas. Hoffman got a 4 strikeout inning + blown save (2nd time ever) + credit with the win (this first time ever? Not sure). A’s played great game I think they are a playoff team.

Holy baseball is back! I was so upset for most of it because it was diabolical that fluharty took back to back singles into his legs (his stuff was good) only for him to get pulled off hurt and for Langeliers to hit a grand slam of off a pitch he had no business taking deep. So much stuff happend for the latter half of the game I forgot Cease was electric. Jays walk it off again.

Solid win, solid series. Blue Jays with an ungodly amount of K’s in this series and finally had the power during this one. Hoffman got his get back with the save. Jesus and Kazuma with first homers as a Blue Jay is very nice.

Looked forward to the game all day watched the whole game, I want to go to sleep. Ponce is hurt because why would we have nice things. Little shouldn’t be on this team I don’t care how good his stuff is when he doesn’t even have the confidence to pitch in the majors. The power was nice to see and encouraging from Springer, Gimenez, Schneider, and that Okamoto home run makes me think that he is going to hit 40+ this season. They really can’t be dropping games to a team like the Rockies because we literally tied NYY for the division last season. We have more starting pitchers on the IL than we do in the rotation. Honestly I could rant for a while but like they have like 158 games left lmao.

Big dub for your Toronto Blue Jays. It was really nice to see a rally in the 7th. Because it felt like they haven’t had one of those this season. Max Scherzer got out of the first inning so you knew it was gonna be lights out. Wish I watched the whole win but I was drunk at oilers game, expect that to be a rating soon.

Good game from what I saw at the top of a mountain. The errors I saw some of the highlights of were absolutely brutal. Kirk I’m praying u good enough to play tomorrow. This team needs to win this series or honestly I think they are pretenders and last season was a fluke and we will go back to mediocrity.

I had the pleasure of not watching this game in full but I still somehow have a lot to say. Yeah they all hurt, I’ve came to work when I’m hurt. Yeah they got flu, I’ve worked while sick. You know what I don’t do? Get bitched by the intern who I remember a year ago barely deserved to be around. Look at us defending American League champions beginning the season with an emotional ceremony thinking we are going to execute. Cut the bs about this team underperforming compared to expected stats and what not because I don’t care. I expect wins against those teams that were bottom feeders last year not to go 1-5. I expect a competitive ball game against the team that we were supposedly “better than” last year. Offense can’t hit for shit. Lock in Blue Jays

I overreact when we lose so let me overreact when we win. A potential season changing win, we needed this BAD. Hoffman picks up the hardest save probably possible (9th inning, dodgers, top of order, up only 1). We put it together strung together enough runs and it feels like we capitalized often but also 3 for 13 with RISP was not what we were doing last season so if we step up in that I think we would ring off a few wins in a row.

Blue Jays bats explode in and look like 2025 form, Patrick Corbin gave his new team 4IP while allowing 4 (decent first outing considering he was signed last week). The blue jays RALLY 5 runs in the 4th and the power looks back and real nice. Of course Valenzuela had his first home run and Varsho with his first of the season but I hope this team has Schneider play every single game til his bat goes away because he has REALLY looked good.

It feels like this baseball team does everything right at the wrong time. Bullpen had 6.2 scoreless innings after scherzer had a blowup (he is allowed to have those). Offensively we were on base 16 times when compared to Minnesota’s 10 times. Yet somehow we lose a game 8-2. It’s almost like the blue jays went 2-for-14 with RISP, that’s definitely not winning you baseball games smh. We will bounce back I ain’t hitting panic button injuries weren’t the reason we lost this series it was the inability to do anything when we have RISP

Everything goes wrong, every time this team steps on the field the next guy limps off. Injuries are getting ridiculous and it’s only up from here. On the other hand as an Albertan I was excited to watch Soroka pitch against the blue jays. Of course I wanted him to get lit up but if anyone was gonna pitch a good game against the blue jays I’d prefer him to be the one.

Get the best pitcher in the world so far this season out in the 5th leads to good things and a tie ball game in the top of the 7th. Then I went back to working and missed the relief pitching trauma of the bottom of that same inning. Honestly though I’m proud of the offensive battle against Soriano with 7 hits against him and 12 total. More offensive games like this and we should have an upcoming stretch of more wins than losses.

It AMAZES me how I’m a fan of the team that was supposed to get 3 outs in the bottom of the 8th inning. I could probably make a whole essay on how brutal that was to watch. With that being said the good thing is that went going to change the outcome of this one. Bats were dry other than the cool kid Homer from varsho. It’s weird because we get good but then we lose games to the goddamn twins (no offence twins fans). 4 game series and anything other than winning the next 3 is a failure. Also Buxton was elite and felt like he won this game at his own will

Okamoto is a SLUGGER. 10 home runs already this season feels like a pipe dream for what the Blue Jays need. I LOVE Brandon Valenzuela but man that game was so weird, this guy had 10 pitch at bat but then tried to tag up from first (bailed out by Pinango single). And defensively he blew all the ABS challenges in one inning. Like him a lot and wish the mistakes were in a game that they would win but unfortunately a rough one from Tyler Rogers blew this game.

At this point I REFUSE to ever complain about who gives up runs who is the issues at pitcher. I don’t care if Brendan little is back on the mound or if Varland is pitching. Why do two relievers and 4 pitchers overall make up this teams top 5 bWAR players so far this season. Believe it or not none of those guys have scored any runs to actually get these so called “wins.” With that being said I’ll give the pitchers the benefit of the doubt because they score like just as much as the guys that get paid to do the scoring. Barger back soon won’t solve everyone else. Okamoto is king and vlad gets base hits but he kinda isn’t even slugging any more. Shoutout straw he lowkey balling out lately

Yes guys two runs of offence against the angels. Really hard team to score against we are ass. My most exciting take away from this game was HOLY CEASE and WHAT THE OKAMOTO. That 10K outing of Cease was a joy to watch and the fact he was telling the hitters the pitches felt classic. Okamoto on defence was incredible no idea how he managed to turn that double play. Offence left so many guys on base all the time that was yikes

It is crazy how my team won 14-1 with 20 hits and I have A LOT to say. First off why did Pinango get optioned to AAA and NOT Schneider. I understand Schneider is a cult hero in Toronto but he is batting .127 and Pinango is batting .423, team is a joke for this decision because Pinango is off to such a hot start to his career and why are we valuing loyalty over production in this decision. If they option Valenzuela instead of DFA Heineman I will riot but that’s the type of choice they will make.
Barger is back and he had a defensive play I’m convinced he is the only player in the MLB who can easily throw him out at home like that. Ernie gets pushed down into the lineup and didn’t like that so he had his second career 5 hit game. Yesavage struggles but honestly he has never blown up and that’s good to see. Valenzuela had an ELITE performance tonight.

It is hard to say that this team is on the up after scoring 5 runs. If those runs were from a bunch of players I’d be happy with the offense. Instead I’m happy with one man and one man only Andrés Giménez. Elite performance 2 homers with 5 RBIs. I would LOVE for him to have a season on par with his Cleveland 2022 season but honestly I don’t think that would save the Blue Jays. Kevin Gausman had a bad outing which was too much to overcome. Praying for Chandler Simpson he is amazing to watch. Praying for all my fellow Blue Jays fans, they aren’t amazing to watch

I have started to realize that this baseball team affects my day to day life. When this team sucks I’m depressed. When this team is in its off season I’m depressed. When this team wins I am happy. Got home from work today the score was already 1-0 ended up being down 5-0 I was sad I was pissed and I was not enjoying my life. Computer crashes just before the 7th inning. Reluctantly turn the computer back on and THE SCORE IS 5-4 AND I WATCH VLADDY TIE IT ON A GIFT FROM GOD ERROR BY CAMINERO. Blue jays lost 7-6 in extras and I’m feeling optimistic for tmr and the 4 game Yankees series. With that being said I expect this team to lose tmr and those 4 Yankees games. Just need a closer score and baseball that is actually exciting to watch.

DAULTON VARSHO GRAND SLAM WALK OFF IN EXTRAS THE BLUE JAYS WIN THE BALL GAME. Absolutely bailed out to take this game the first run that sent it in extras was putrid. I was texting my dad about how bad they were with 1 for 10 with RISP. The blue jays did NOT to deserve this game and they were NOT the better team. My voice is gone. CEASE WITH AN ELECTRIC ELECTRIC OUTING. No one is to blame on this pitching staff as per usual. Although shaky by Hoffman (who got the pitching win what a fun stat). Cease was still my MVP for this game he only faced one more then the minimum through 6 and that was electric.

Vladdy started this off with a homer which he looked emotional for as it puts an end to slump and he continued that into another hit later in the game. Excited to watch him play the Yankees because he always does well against those guys. Varsho with two XBH is my MVP. Both of those resulted in the other 3 runs the Blue Jays scored. Gimenez with some scary defensive moments. Gausman with a poise 6 shutout innings.

Lots to unpack. During the game it was going through my head that blue jays have played the better game and deserved to win but honestly both teams had the pretty much exact same games. Both teams with multiple homers, both teams with randoms showing up. Both teams had a reliever who tried their hardest to lose. As a blue jays fan all these are positive results and it didn’t win us the game but everything feels like it’s falling into place. Alberta boy Adam Macko 🇨🇦 was a stud in his debut not allowing a base runner (some hard contact luck). Yariel Rodriguez and David Bednar tried their hardest to lose and that was fun. Yariel was batting practice (looked like prime Brendan Little) and 1000% was the reason we lost. David Bednar I guess had a bounce back save for the Yankees but also bro recorded two outs against vladdy and Springer and I think he only had one pitch thrown in the zone. Where tf was his fastball? Very excited for the rest of this series and it can go either way.

First and foremost praying for Eury Perez to be okay that didn’t look good that he hurt himself stretching between innings. I know he hit Okamoto with a fastball and kept staring at the Blue Jays dugout but I don’t think that was intentional. The Blue Jays win this series off of a pair of RBI hits from Lukes and Okamoto, with the latter being a (hopefully slump ending) home run. Gausman with 5 shaky innings but managed to only allow 1 run in the first. Onto Baltimore

Blue Jays took the opener against the O’s to extend their winning streak to 3 games. Off the back of the likeliest of heroes being Andres Gimenez’s early solo shot off of his former teammate Chris Bassitt. A late inning collapse by the O’s pitching staff was the difference maker in this one. I love Varland doing Louis things having a 4 out save and lowering his ERA to 0.30

This one I think is the one that turns around the season. Bullpen game with the top 3 relievers all out for rest, against a team that I think is better than their record. Down 5-0 felt over felt like everything went wrong. 4 batters in a row all scored with Okamoto and McAdoo getting two run shots. Vladdy comes up in a critical moment later and gets 2 RBIs to take the lead that they didn’t relinquish. Exciting to see McAdoo get his first career homer and Fisher with the first career save.

First off, Basallo injury on a swing in miss genuinely scares me looks like his shoulder popped out so prayers for him. That game even before the bottom of the 9th was a game the Blue Jays absolutely shouldn't have been in any position to win. How many times did the baseball gods bale out the Blue Jays. 3 double plays with a total of 8 of the possible 9 runners on the bases for those. The O's GIFTED the Blue Jays the first two runs. HOFFMAN WATCHED ALL THAT ALL OF IT, HE CAME IN TO THE GAME UP 4 RUNS IT WASN'T EVEN A SAVE SITUATION AND HE BLEW IT. THIS MAN WILL NEVER DO ANYTHING TO BE IN THE GOOD GRACES OF BLUE JAYS FANS. Simeon Woods-Richardson pitched 4 scoreless and looked electric doing it. The blue jays could not capitalize on opportunities they had all game. Varland blew it I guess but they also couldn’t even give him a save situation because the offense was dog shit with RISP

Yeah we blowing a tied game going into the 9th like we did yesterday. Can't even make the argument that Vladdy and Gimenez being out was what costed us this game considering that one of the replacements hit a homer. Babe is back I hope? Thank you Patrick Corbin for being there when we needed innings but I expect with Bieber coming back, for him to be DFA'd. American League is still wide open because most teams suck, but the longer we keep losing the less likely I see us to repeat anything we did last year, let alone make the playoffs. Onto Boston.

Solid bounce back game. 3 homers from the babe, Gimenez and Springer who finally got his 300th homer. Cease looked bad today but got 5 scoreless innings. MYLES STRAW WITH A 14 PITCH AT BAT WAS EPIC

Blue Jays come out of this game putting up a valiant shutout. Not deserved and I don’t really think this is a winning formula of new pitchers coming in again to deal with someone else’s trash but the Blue Jays managed to strand 13 Sox base runners and holding the Sox to 0-for-12 with RISP. Offence showed up big games from Schneider, Gimenez and Springer. Not a winning formula but we take those.

Yesavage with his longest outing of his career going 7.1 (his previous longest was 7.0 in Game 5 of World Series). It was looking like complete game watch until he gave up back to back homers for the Red Sox to tie it. Valenzuela came through with a double off Chapman in the 9th and the blue jays swept the series. Vladdy homer was long awaited but crucial in this one as they head to Wriggly.

Gausman is allowed to have a bad game but Holy that game was uncompetitive going into the 2nd inning. Pretty sour to get your 2000 IP in an outing where you give up 7 before recording 3 outs. Awful game

I was thinking about why do I watch this team when the World Cup is on. Why do I look forward to this team to play. Why do they make below average pitchers look elite. HOLY RALLY DOWN 5-0, I HAVE TO BELIEVE THEM THIS IS THE TURNING POINT (it won’t be) THE AMERICAN LEAGUE IS SO WEAK AND WE ARE NOT ONE OF THE REASONS WHY ITS WEAK (we absolutely are). Bieber back on Monday, let’s win tomorrow and take this series. This team is unstoppable (we are very stoppable).
