NBA champions. Tatum and Brown. Teammates for 7 years, but they never were quite able to break through. The heartbreaking finals loss to the Warriors. Falling down 3-0 to the Heat, coming back to force a game 7, only to lose after Tatum rolled his ankle in the first minute. But finally, the best duo in the league finally broke through and became NBA champions. Boston legends, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.

This was the game we took full control of the series. Of course, in game 4, they had to do that little thing where they stopped trying for a game and lost, but once we got up 3-0 I knew it was officially over. Even at 0-0 I knew there was no shot JT and JB were losing another finals but this one really set it in stone and buried the Mavericks.

Payton Pritchard made one shot this game. But in classic Payton Pritchard fashion, that one shot was a buzzer beater three. That alongside a Jrue Holiday legacy game carried us to the victory and a commanding lead in the series.

Game 1 belt. From the start it was clear who the better team was. And we showed it throughout the series. 🍀

Of course, the regularly scheduled once per series loss. Take a commanding series lead, forget that you actually have to do more than just arrive to the stadium to win, then give belt the rest of the series. It was literally that exact script the entire 2024 playoff run.

The start of the 2024 playoff run. Jayson Tatum triple double and the Celtics were better in every fashion. Kinda worked that way the entire playoff run

1 of 2 times the Celtics were tied in a series other than 0-0 in this playoff run. They never once trailed a series.

Tatum with another double double and this was the game the Celtics took full control of the series. No chance we were losing to the Heat again after what happened in 2023.

The closest Celtics win the entire series was by 14 points. We were just so much better than the Heat in every facet of the game.

Celtics finished off the pure absolute dominance to move on to the second round. Spoiler alert, this wasn't the only series the Celtics dominated.

Absolute belt, just like the rest of the series and hell the entire playoffs in general. It was just insane how much better the Celtics were than literally everybody else in the NBA in 2024.

The only close game in this series, but it was still clear the Celtics were just better. Tatum with a 30 point double double for the second game in a row.

After this, the Celtics were officially halfway there! Only 10 games for the first two series, and the next two went 4 and 5 games. Wild to think the Celtics dominated so much that no series even reached a game 6.

Absolute cinema to start the series. Shockingly, this was the most tightly contended series the Celtics played in their entire run despite it being their only sweep. Only one game was decided by more than 5 points. This series just showed how much more the Pacers developed in the clutch between 2024 and 2025 because with the amount of close games in this series the 2025 Pacers probably would've won this series.

The only game that wasn't close in this series. Shocking the Celtics swept this series, the way it played out you would've thought the Pacers could've snatched at least one game.

Celtics took a commanding 3-0 lead, but as the Celtics themselves demonstrated the previous year, no lead is safe. The Heat got up on the Celtics 3-0 but the Celtics fought back to force a game 7. I'll never forget screaming at my TV that Smart was taking the final shot but of course Derrick White made the hard-nosed hustle play to get the putback layup for a win. Sucks that we lost that game 7. But back to this game, this was another close one down to the wire, didn't go to overtime like game 1 but still a great game.

The Boston Celtics. Finals bound. Thoughts of 2022 vs the Warriors still clear in our minds. This series was probably the best sweep ever. 3 of the 4 were close, right down to the ending, but the Celtics made the big plays when it mattered most.
