Best Flames Games of 2024-25
Since I rated every Flames game this past season, figured it would be fun to list out my best Flames games from the past season. Combination of best games to watch and best Flames wins. Honourable mention: 5-1 W vs. Kings, Final Game of the season and 3-1 W vs. Caps, February 25th.

FLAMES GAME OF THE YEAR! What a battle! Massive props to Seattle for refusing to let this be easy. This was already a gritty battle in the 1st and 2nd, but that 3rd period and OT make this legendary!

This looked like it would be an easy Avs win after 2 periods. The Flames looked completely outmatched. But Vladar keeps us alive and Adam fucking Klapka comes up huge. The OT and shootout was INTENSE.

Looked like an absolute bore after the 1st period, but the Flames made it a game and somehow pulled off the win with an OT winner from Zary. Crazy.

We had a legit goalie duel. Sarros and Wolf both put up great performances and it ended with Wolf’s first career shutout! Bad PP didn’t ruin this game

This was an intense game to the end. Back and forth, highlight saves, a slick Kadri goal and it ended with Wolf’s second career shutout!

Of course, the Flames make a miraculous comeback when they’re officially eliminated from the playoffs. Sucks the Kings game won’t matter, but this game helps me feel better. Glad we beat Vegas once.

Slow defensive battle. This would normally get a score of ~4. But obviously, this game is about more than hockey. RIP Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau.

THE DUSTIN WOLF SHOW! Probably Wolf’s best performance so far this season, even better than his shutouts. Jets controlled the game and got great chances but couldn’t break through Wolf. Intense game.

Typical Battle of Alberta, nice to see the beef is still there. Flames really impressed me defensively, shutting down every Oilers chance in the 3rd.
