The Thunder put themselves one step closer to giving themselves ANOTHER top 3 pick to add to their loaded core by beating the Clippers tonight. The Clippers actually jumped on the Thunder early, most notably by a steal from Kawhi on SGA and then a jumper right after. After the 1st quarter, the thought of the Clippers actually getting one up on the Thunder, hurting both their draft pick and the Thunder’s chances at 74 wins. That thought quickly escaped my brain in the 2nd quarter as the Thunder reminded everyone how catastrophically the Paul George trade (probably should be called the Shai trade) went for the Clippers. Speaking of that trade, the biggest piece put on a show, fighting back against the foul baiters by getting his 30 with just 6 free throws (only made 4).
