@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Avalanche vs Stars

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Avalanche vs Stars game 9.4 out of 10 in NHL on March 7, 2026. Final score: Avalanche 5 – Stars 4. Reg. Season. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

Started out incredible, remained amazing and became just great before shifting all the way back to incredible. That 1st period was so sick! 5 goals in the period, Cale and Miro going back and forth and Mackinnon with a buzzer beater. Just awesome hockey all-around. Despite less scoring chances and goals in the 2nd period, we still got plenty of action. Jamie Benn got a scrappy goal and Necas found a hole after Landeskog drew the attention of like 3 Stars players. Then we got the 3rd period and unfortunately, while it was still good, it didn’t compare to the excellent hockey we had before. Dallas just had the puck seemingly forever and weren’t getting a lot of scoring chances with their possession. That all changed in the last 5 minutes when Dallas went on the penalty kill and Colorado pulled all the stops and a last second Nichuskin snipe tied it up this classic. Overtime didn’t slow down. So many golden chances and big saves. Even the shootout was good and Wedgewood was so clutch!
